Our journey started with a devastating loss—the passing of our 10-year-old Rottweiler, Spike. His premature death was a wake-up call, leading us to question the generic diet we had been feeding him.
In 2013, we welcomed an English Bulldog into our family and soon realized the breed's susceptibility to health issues.
Determined to provide our new companion with the best possible care, we delved into research and discovered the power of a Biologically Appropriate Raw Dog Food diet. Inspired by our experiences, we founded Canid Roots to share our passion for canine nutrition and help others give their dogs the healthy, fulfilling lives they deserve."
